Walnut Entertainment Center

This is the second piece in our collection of furniture for our home that is made from boards sawn from walnut trees on my uncle’s land. When designing this project, we wanted something that was simple in design so it would not detract from the wood’s character itself. This piece is made of 100% solid wood(no plywood or veneers). All of the panels in the ends and doors are book matched. In one of the compartments, the back pieces are inset to make a concealed space for all of the cords.

Like I have said before, I love things that have a story and I am really grateful to build pieces that have a connection to our family and hopefully all of these pieces will become heirlooms in the future.
